Sunshine 25: MAJORCA

Hi guys,

I just let you know with a quick and VERY:) short post - that I've already packed my luggage and beauty case for my Majorca Vacation 2013!:)

I'm finished with my packaging, a bit stressed (as I've ALWAYS try to control this negative emotion:)) and excited - what I'll do and expect there:)!

Oh here you can see some snapshooties of my lovely Samsonite American Tourister (shop & website) 4-wheel medium trolley (which was in the US already with me too:)!):

Today was a good day - as I've tried out some new fake-nails by Kiss, got a HUGE Labello lipbalm collection from the lovely Nivea/Beiersdorf team!:) - BIG THANKS! And as I've made some strange faces with my Rimmel by Kate No. 09 lipstick:)!:

They are REALLY thin and should protect your own nail and make them grow faster!:) - I'm pretty much excited whether it will be such a result like I would like to have (results will be posted after my sweet holidays:)).

Rimmel No. 09 by Kate - what else should I say it's a perfect day!:)

And last but not least the lovely Labello (HUGE BALM) surprise:

As it's always great to grap one of those old classic or latest flavor lip balms for the pre-autumn/late summer coldy time!:)

I hope you're all well and enjoy the last late-summer days. I'll promise to continue my regular almost daily posts/videos on youtube after my holiday/vacation on the beautiful island of Majorca!

Hope see you soon here again - and as I'm pretty sure, you've not read ALL posts, which I've written since my start of this little but lovely corner of beauty/life and memories oh and inspirations too:) - you could continue to read my past post until I'll came back!

Healthy OMBAR Choco

Hi guys,

as you already know, I've been lucky to get two samples of the lovely UK based small but interesting and great new chocolate brand called "OMBAR Chocolate Enlightenment".

The Ombar Chocolate Team is using raw, organic cacao from Ecuador, coconut sugar from independent farmers in Java and other healthy stuff like e.g. Bacillus coagulans GBI-30 6086 (0.34%), which is similar to Lactobacillus/probiotic bacteria like in many plain yoghurts:) - It is a natural supplement developed to help support digestive and immune health (via Wikipedia)!

Raw cacao is used not only because of its rich complex flavour, but also because it retains much more of its antioxidant properties which are lost during the roasting process.

I've tested Ombar Organic Raw Chocolate "Coco Mylk" and Ombar Organic Raw Chocolate "Strawberries & Cream":

1. Coco Mylk:

It's a really creamy/smooth and soft consistency - so it's definitely NOT to expect a crunchy/hard "click" chocolate sound if you try to break a piece of the whole bar - it's really soft and smooth! Which isn't bad - just not the normal chocolate consistency (which is probably 'cause it doesn't contain any other oils and preservatives, which are normally in a "normal" milk chocolate bar!

Cacao mass*, coconut sugar*, coconut cream*(20%), cocoa butter*, ground vanilla pods*, Bacillus Coagulans GBI-30 6086 (0.34%) *certified organic

Nutri' Info - per bar:

 778.1 kj/190.7 kcal, Protein - 1.7g, Carbohydrate - 13.2g/which sugar 10.5g, Fat - 15.3g/which saturates 12.5g, Fibre - 3.1g, Sodium - trace

As it contains Coconut Cream and Vanilla Pods - it's kind of creamy caramel tasting too!:) I would prefer to eat a piece during you're drinking your warm chai latte or creamy coffee! - Perfect for the next season of Autumn 13 too:) Another Pro is the Vegan friendly recipe - as this bar is also enriched with healthy probiotic bacteria (Bacillus Coagulans).

Ombar says:

"The general properties of probiotic are to maintain a healthy and balanced intestinal microbiota and reduce the incidence of intestinal infections, and is frequently recommended to prevent unbalanced intestinal microflora"

My opinion:

The texture is really smooth and I'm a person who like the hard chocolate more BUT the ingredients, which are raw foods hit me in the 1st minute - as I'm a BIG healthy food fan! I'm also willing to disclaim/live without the hard choco texture:)

Prize, Size & Best Before:

Prize: £1.99, Size: 35g, Best before: 12 months

2. Strawberries & Cream:

Dark 60% Ecuadorian raw chocolate, blended with Coconut Cream, infused with delicious freeze-dried strawberry powder and enriched with probiotic healthy bacteria.

It has the same creamy/smooth consistency as the other Ombar Raw Chocolate Bars too, but has a more summer flavor - like fresh picked strawberries with a portion of creamy coconut cream like deluxe Wimbledon (recipe)!

Ingredients: cacao mass*, coconut sugar*, coconut cream* (14%), strawberry powder* (8%), cocoa butter*, Bacillus Coagulans GBI-30 6086(0.34%) *certified organic

Nutri' Info - per bar:
727.3kj/174.5kcal, Protein - 2.0g, Carbohydrate - 14.7g/which sugar 11.6g, Fat - 13.3g/which saturates 11.1g, Fibre - 3.3g, Sodium - trace

It contains the same probiotic bacteries like the other bars and like Ombar says:

"Coconut sugar is made from the sap of coconut palm trees; extracted once the blossom is removed. This nectar is gently heated until it becomes a delicious, rich unrefined sugar. Analysis of coconut sugar shows that it has a low glycemic index of 35 which is less than refined sugar (68), honey (48) and agave (40). Coconut sugar is not a raw food."

My opinion:

A pretty much like the fruity scent/flavor of this bar - it's fresh and creamy and I would say it has a bigger "WOW" factor - as it's not only plain (and I attend to buy always darker plain chocolates:)) but also contains another flavor factor - the fruitness! And strawberries - what should I say more - I LOOOOVE this huge healthy bomb!:)

Prize, Size & Best Before:

Prize: £1.99 NOW £1.79, Size: 35g, Best before: 12 months

For more informations - please visit Ombar UK or buy one or more bars at their shop or watch this introducing vid' on youtube.

Have a lovely sweet day!:)

Sunshine 24: Summer Pic's of my life 2

Hi guys:),

I've been recently too busy to show you each day my latest news - BUT now as it's rainin' here and I'm listening to few lovely relaxin' and smooth songs like: Remember, Amarantine, The Blue Umbrella, 101 Dalmatians Main Title, Beauty and the Beast and many more:)

Oh I'm sooo lucky and glad to get the opportunity to cooperate with many lovely brands and "names":) and that I've received this week to further lovely swimwear (Alexandra Body Suit & Bikini) by Je Suis by Rachel Pappo and two weeks ago also two swimswear (Mirage One Piece & Pink Frill Bikini) by Scandale & mariemeili.

Pink Frill Bikini by mariemeili:

Ombar Choco' is now one of my next healthy sweet tooth! It contains just healthy raw cocoa, coconut sugar etc. (I'll make this day a post). Oh and the Strawberries & Cream is a quiet better than the plain Organic Coco Mylk one!

As I'm in Majorca for 10 days in almost one week!:) (YEPE!!!!! I can't wait!:)) I'll show you ALL bikinis and Swimwear I've received and packed in my travel case - on myself at the beautiful balearic beach of Majorca! And I'll try to make a short "Summer 13 Swimwear Look" video too!:)

Sunshine 23: Fav' Summer 13 Nailpolishes

Hi guys:),

I've been a lot outside, workin', searching for last summer pieces, checkin' mails, telephoning, smelling 1st fresh baked butternut's, eatin' healthy food like carrots and and and and....:)

But! I've searched in my "Nailpolish Collection" and found some brand new too - and here's my fav' Summer 13 Nailpolish list:

It's NOT the "hugest" amount - they are exactly 6! But they are ALL pretty as I think and my Fav' Summer 13 Nailpolishes are a GREAT mixture of low-budget/drugstore/high-end nail products!

So, which colors I've been wearing a LOT this month of August and July/June too?:

Bright ones - like e.g.: Yellow/Pink/Neon-Pink/Pastel/Blue or "Blue'ish" shades of polishes - for my hands and for my feets too! (But usually I attend to use Pink, Nude or Clear polishes for my homemade Pedicures!).

Which shades and brands you've had and choose for your Summer 13 fav's?:

Mavala 180 Candy Floss (The Sunday Girl has made an AMAZING post about this shade!:)), flormar 423, Max Factor Glossfinity 30 Sugar Pink (my post), essence 140 go bold!, Sally Hansen 540 Frutti Petutie, Dior Vernis Gloss 118 Acapulco

I wish you ALL a great pamperin' Saturday:) and a lovely evening.

It's great you've stopped here and read some lines - I'm glad for each of you - as YOU're much more worth as you maybe think!:)

Sunshine 22: Corfu & Clarins

Hi guys:),

I'm really sorry, that I've not written the last days some short/middle-long/long posts:) BUT as I'm working/planing my holidays/vacation (YES I've already booked the flight and hotel for a month  now - BUT I'm planing - What I'll visit there, where I'll go and where I could show you some of my latest swimwear - at the beach of course:)) in Majorca. Oh and as it's soooo sunny and hot outside (which I TOTALLY loooove:)) I've become a bit obsessed with swimming!:)

But now to my 22th Sunshine, which should be about my latest travel-size/sample-size Clarins Sunscreens and about the little cute gift, which I've received from my sis' from her holidays in Greece (especially in Corfu - and she was in the mareblue aeolos Beach Resort)

I've got a Kum Quat Fortunella Margarita Marmelade (250g) - which was soooooo delicious (YES I've already eaten the whole glass fully out:)) - there are small Kum Quat fine cut pieces and it's JUST fruity, a BIT sweeter than other marmelades I've ever eaten - that's 'cause the Kumquats are normally a bit bitter so they add surely some sugar BUT it tastes absolutely fresh and like summer - a perfect spread for your summer vacation or hot mornings!

And a Original Greek Products "Olive Oil Soap KumQuat" - which I'm at the moment using for my daily hand wash (as I pretty much like to use hard soaps for my hand care routine!) It's a handmade and natural green shade soap with a lightly citrus/KumQuat scent and it's not tooo greasy BUT I would recommend a soap dish/plate - as this one is fully without any pesticides or other chemical stuff it gets a bit greasy on the back side after using! - Would really like to try out the other scents too!:

(Photo Credit: Corfu Spirits - I don't own it!)

Both products are made in Corfu by Corfu Spirit.

Here's a short vid' - how it looks like on a typical greek/corfu fresh citrus market:

And as well you've to protect your skin from the sunny beloved sun too!:) I've tested out some Clarins sunscreen/sunprotect products on myself the last month - and here's my short review:

It's a good sun protection for normal/dry/combination and oily skin tones and for sun-sensitive skin types too! My first impression was, the creamy a bit yellow/creamy shade and the scent is JUST a perfect mix between luxury lifestyle/summer vacation/freshness - I JUST LOOOOVE THIS SCENT!

I've a porcelain/light skin tone during the autumn/winter and spring  - so I need a high SPF/LSF usually BUT during July/August when my skin began to get a bit "colored":) 20 SPF/LSF wasn't really too low. Clarins also create a good formula for UVB/UVA - so this is probably my fav' of the whole Clarins sunprotection/sunscreens BECAUSE of the (my new beloved) scent and texture. And I didn't got any redness or alergic reactions! Well done and Thumb up!:) Bottle size: 200ml

It's sometimes quiet hard to find the best After-Sun especially if you've sensitive/light skin, which needs extra protection and calm down after a middle-long day out at the hot sun or just during a busy summer day (which is always include at your vacation - as you'll probably NOT miss any activites/atractions they offer in the country where you stay during your vacatin - Right?!) And so I've been a bit shy and worry about the gel-texture (as the milky/creamy texture is my fav') BUT it really cools and calms your skin pretty well!:) it also has a kind of summer/vacation and fresh scent - I would say it's pretty much the same like the beloved scent from Clarins Sun Care Cream Moderate Protection UVB/UVA 20 BUT lighter MUCH MUCH lighter - which could be stronger! It's a good lux'/pampering After Sun Treatment, which could BUT must not be in your summer care collection - as I'm sure there are much better one which are also much cheaper!

This one seems to be on the first sight the same like the above mentioned Clarins Creme Solaire Comfort UVB/UVA 20 BUT the scent isn't the same - it's light and not really my choice. And the formula is much more for people - who are already in the "Middle-Age Term":) or want especially an anti-aging formula in their sun screen/protection products! Which I would use now just for my body - BUT for my face it's at the moment a NO-GO!:) So I'm not really excited about this formula JUST the milky/creamy texture is pretty my choice and I really like the fast absorbing (which is by the way at all Clarins sunprotections include!:)) But I wouldn't buy a full-size product!

My winner is the Clarins Creme Solaire Comfort UVB/UVA 20 - maybe I'll try out the 50 in this range too as the scent and the formula/texture just win my beauty blogger heart!:)

So which are your sunscreen/protection "newbies" (that's how I call some new sunscreen products I've recently tried out and fell in love with:))? Let me know that in your lovely comments!

Eye Studio Big Eye Shadows by Maybelline

Hi guys:),

recently I've got a lovely mail by Maybelline to write about their new Eye Studio Big Eye Eyeshadows and so I've though to write about it - as I'm also interested in them!

The combinations are perfect to create lots of different style with JUST one palette!:) And the 3D pigmentation of this eyeshadows will not create just a perfect bright eye makeup BUT also an optical bright-up of your eyes!:)

3 Effects:

Eye Bright Up, optimal accent of the whole eye makeup look, luminous/bright irradiance of your eye makeup look

The new eye shadow technology isn't just a 3D color experience, the inteligent formula of each shadow will create a fresh and healthy looking eye look! That's possible, as the 4 shadows in each palette are working together in a harmony!

It's easy to apply BUT the result is brilliant and a real eye-chatcher!:)

How to apply:

Step 1 - the light/reflect basis (this formula contains white pearl components, which allows to reflect the natural light and your eyes will shine more!)

Step 2 - The 3D color play - apply the lightest shade (which has the pearl ingredients) on your eye lid, this will gives your eye the 3D shade and shape and will create a better end result of the whole eye makeup!

Step 3 - Shiny and intensive color - with the shade "Popshade" (which is included in each palette) you will create an accent on your inner eye lid - as this shade contains the most and the highest pigmentation (which makes 60%!)

Step 4 - The Shape: At the end you'll apply the darkest shade on your out/highest eye lid point. It's the "Chocolate at the top" to create the ultimative Big Eye makeup look!

How many Eye Studio Big Eye Shadows Palettes are available:

You can choose from 4 Big Eye Shadows Palettes:

Big Eye Luminous Brown 01
Big Eye Luminous Turquoise 03
Big Eye Luminous Blue 04
Big Eye Luminous Purple 05

How much does such a palette will cost & where to get them?:

This Maybelline Eye Studio Big Eye Shadow Palettes will be available in your local drugstore/supermarket from EUR 11,49

I hope you've enjoyed this post and I would really like to know - whether you would be interested in a makeup tutorial with one of these palettes?

Sunshine 18: Oh Sweet California

Hi guys,

as it's hot here in europe and the weather totally freaks out - I though to write something about one of my fav' countries and especially regions/state in the US - California Babe'!:)

I hope to visit this magical state soon and I swear I would love to visit ALL places there:)!

Laguna Beach sea, venice beach or santa monica - Cal' beaches are clean and lovely too:) I would like to jump right up and feel the sand on my feets!:)

Favorite Song by Colbie Caillat ft. Common is a perfect beach song!;)

The cal' dessert is soooo colorful and bright during the spring - a lovely landscape where your mood calms down and you feel more relaxed!:)

Miss Atomic Bomb by The Killers is a great song and suits perfectly with Cal' (...."through the desert...":))

The Californian Kitchen is in fact healthy, as it contains a LOT of fresh ingredients like: fresh fruits/vegetables, whole flour and nuts - great for vegetarians or vegans too!:)

The local "The Farmers Market" is one of the sight seeing hotspots/points in LA - a great place to find organic local grown sweet potatoes or other healthy stuff & Marilyn Monroe has visit this holly place too!:):

Pasadena isn't JUST A CITY in LA - it's ninth-largest city there and it's great for sport fanatics too - as it's bounded by San Rafael Hills & San Gabriel Mountains. The Rose Bowl Stadium is a great place to enjoy a good american football match. Enjoy fresh local grown peaches and don't miss to stay (maybe just one night:)) in the luxury resort The Langham Huntington Pasadena Hotel - as it's one of the oldest one there (vintage atmosphere:))! It opened in February 1907 as the Hotel Wentworth, but closed its doors after its first season. It was purchased by Henry E. Huntington in 1911 and reopened in 1914 as The Huntington Hotel after redesign.

There are a LOT of old classic/vintage diners on many places in Cal' - but these 4 diners/street - side restaurants are one of the well known and old ones but rebuilt/renovated:

1. Rae's Restaurant - enjoy fresh pies in a 50s atmosphere
2. Ruby's Diner - a "Grease" feelin' there - 50s feeling pure with a lovey apply pie!
3. Pine Cone Diner - a lovely cottage atmosphere with yummy homemade pancakes for breakfast!
4. The Original Sambo's on the Beach - a 100% retro feeling - enjoy some lovely breakfast muffins.

What about a deep facial cleansing theraphy/spa feeling with some of the well-known and luxury treatments from Erno Laszlo - many female/male actors during the 50s also have seen the magical effects of Dr. Laszlo's beauty treatments.

You see California is really one of my fav' travel spots and I wound looove to visit this magical place soon!:)

Sunshine 17: Summer Pic's of my life

Hi guys,

this is a ultimative short post - I know!:) But I would like to show you some pic's of this week and of the last one too ( so the week before this week starts:)):

2.My messy bun and simple hot temperature look - using instead of a lip gloss/lipstick the Labello Pearly Shine

3.Eating yummy yummy watermelon(s) - Oh I'm sorry, I've eaten not ONLY this half one - but further 1 and half - I'm just such a huge watermelon eater:)
4.Summer Vacation Childhood memorie - You see, I've my own head since I was a pretty little lady:)

5.Bought a bright neon Dior Vernis Gloss (shade: 118 Acapulco)

6.Drinkin' a LOT of still water - this one is actually from Spar and the country of origin is: BELLA ITALIA:)

7.Used-up my beloved NIVEA stress protection deo' - JUST, that it contains alluminium doesn't really makes me happy! That could be removed and replaced by something more healthy!

8.Drinking "Freakin' Apple Joe" - It's soooo refreshing, believe me!:)

9.My messy bun again just with a bright pink lip shade and morning glow:)

Oh if you would like to try out some new refreshing (still) water drinks for the next hot glowin' days - what about a "Freakin' Apple Joe" or "Peppermint Refresha" ?:

All you need for a "Freakin' Apple Joe" is:

Some cloudy apple juice, pure lemon juice, still water, ice cubes and some lemon slices for decoration!

All you've to do - just place 7-8 cute middle-sized ice cubes into your fav' glass, fill in a half of still water and some cloudy apple juice + some lemon juice!- "Freakin' Apple Joe" is ready to be tasted:)!

All you need for a "Peppermint Refresha" is:

1-2 natural/organic lemons (to make sure, that the crust isn't with any preservatives!), 1 Peppermint tea sachet  and a bottle of still water.

Put your peppermint tea sachet into the still water bottle and add the fresh squeezed lemon juice. Close the bottle and shake it well. Put the bottle into your fridge and leave it for maybe 4 hours. After you take it out of your fridge you'll see, that the water is infused and colored by the peppermint and the refreshing scent and taste of "Peppermint Refresha" is born!:)

My fav' song of this week was "Step" by Vampire Weekend.
What have you done this week and the week before? Did you've planed a vacation or have you been somewhere on a summer trip? - Just let me know that in your comments:)

Sunshine 16: Lip Balms with SPF/LSF

Hi guys:),

the weather plays crazy and good for us to enjoy a perfect garden barbecue/pool party, picnic or a nice lovely day at the beach!:) But what we normally forget to protect are our lips. Which can probably cause, that years later we could have deep wrinkles in it or they could turn uneven like we used to know them!

"Right DON'T forget your lips!"

I've tested these two sun protect lipbalms for you and here's the review:

1. Labello Sun Protect waterproof lipbalm with a SPF/LSF of 30:
(Photo Credit: Labello AT - I don't own it!)

This little treasure will gives you a promptly sun protection and a longterm moisture without any whitness on your lips! It contains sun flower extract and it's water-& heat-proof up to 50 °C!

How to apply/How often?:

You should apply a nice amount of this lip balm before you go out on the hot sun. To keep up the sun protection you've to apply it several times after you've been a pretty time in the lovely salty sea/lake or pool or just after you've been a long time on the sun!

Cera Microcristallina, Octyldodecanol, Cetyl Palmitate, Ricinus Communis Seed Oil, Homosalate, Octocrylene, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmenthane, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Hydrogenated Polydecene, Myristyl Myristate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2, C20-40 Alkyl Stearate, Copernicia Cerifera Cera, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter, Helianthus Annuus Seed Extract, Cera Alba, Glyceryl Glucoside, Aqua, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Limonene, Linalool, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, Citral, Parfum, CI 77891, CI 77492

My own opinion:

I know this sun protection lip balm from Labello pretty well since my childhood, where it was sold too just the packaging/design has changed a bit! (oh I'll make a Labello packaging history soon too:)) and I'm of the opinion, that it was more creamy and the scent was better - so the old formula was much better (the Ingredients list as you've maybe recognized above is PRETTY HUGE!, that's what I don't really like in my cosmetics!) But the higher SPF/LSF of 30 is better than before, as you maybe didn't know, that the first sold Labello sun Protection only has a SPF/LSF of 12! So as the weather has changed dramatically the labello lip balm industry has changed their sun protection lip balm formula not only twice!

I would recommend this lip balm, if you're a fan of labello (to have it in your own Labello Collection), if you don't like dry/white/or non-smooth lip balms and wish for a non-creamy but smooth and soft lip sun protection or if you like to try out a new sun protect lip balm. I'm not really a fan of Labello sun protect - the Ingredients list and the non-creamyness and just the scent and feeling of it - doesn't hit my heart!

This sun protect lip balm from Lavera Natural Cosmetics is 100% natural, water-resistant and immediately effective. It contains organic oils and natural moisturising factors to protect lips and prevent them from drying out. It creates a light white coat on your lips - as it contains Zinc Oxide - which is in fact one of the SPF/LSF natural ingredients!

How to apply/How often?:

You should apply the Lavera Lip Balm with SPF/LSF 10 low generously and evenly to your lips - don't apply a little amount -  which could cause a reduction of protection! Reapply frequently after you've been in the sea/pool/lake etc. or just for a longer time outside! You should also know, that the SPF/LSF of 10 would not grow higher/no increase by applying several layers at once! After you've applyed your lip and body sun protection make sure don't stay too long in the sun and avoid the midday sun!

Glycine Soja Oil*, Ricinus Communis Oil, Olea Europaea Oil*, Silica, Cera Carnauba*, CI 77891, Candelilla Cera, Simmondsia Chinensis Oil*, Zinc Oxide, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter*, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil*, Hippophae Rhamnoides Extract*, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil*, Stearic Acid, Tocopherol, Daucus Carota Extract, Beta-Carotene, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Aloe Barbadensis Extract, Calendula Officinalis Extract*, Aroma

*ingredients from certified organic agriculture

4,5g/Net Wt. 0.15 Oz.

My own opinion:

It's my fav' between the two lip balms I've shown/reviewed you here in this post about "Lipbalms with SPF/LSF" - as the Ingredients list isn't too long and contains in fact a huge amount of natural/organic things like Zinc Oxide, Beta-Carotene (which can't be too much for summer!:)), Aloe Extract and of course healthy oils like: Soja, Sweet Almond Oil or the beloved Jojoba Oil! It's full with natural treasures, which protect your lips from the "bad" sun lights:)

Just the SPF/LSF of 10 low - is REALLY low! It could be 25 or 20! - So I would really recommend this product as it's almost scentless just a light-scent (which should be a problem for all:)) and the dry-&creamy formula is just amazing! I mean it's dry but after you've put it on your lips it turns creamy - it's lovely and I will definitely recommend it to wear it during June, July or Spring days when the temperature and UVA/UVB must not be soo high like in the middle-/hot summer days. Or for people who are not light-/very light- skin types (so not blonde/red heads!:)) but mediterran/dark skin types - it should be enough of SPF/LSF!

I'll buy it again - but I'm still on the hunt for a perfect (it must not be a natural/organic) sun protection lipbalms with SPF/LSF 20 - 50 for my vacation!

If you've liked this post/find it interesting and you know a better or a sun protection lip balm with a higher SPF/LSF perfect for summer vacation - Please let me know that in the comment section!

I wish you a lovely sunday afternoon.
