I've a sensitive skin, so I've been quite surprised after receiving all 3 new "2in1 Shower & Shampoo"* products by Weleda to give them a try.
Weleda "2in1 Shower & Shampoo"* - 4.95€ / 150ml
First of all - isn't the dolphin/hippo/seal illustration cute?!
Weleda Kids "2in1 Shower & Shampoo - Tangy Lime"* comes in the green packaging with the adorable hippo on it. It's my favorite from all 3 "2in1 Shower & Shampoo" products. The authentic lime scent just gives me the needed refreshment while taking a morning shower and I can use it after applying a coffee scrub, which helps as well to prevend cellulite. Lemons and limes are great anti-cellulite treatments!
Weleda Kids "2in1 Shower & Shampoo - Sweet Vanilla"* actually doesn't remind me on the typical (non-)chemical vanilla scent, it's more a milky scent, which reminds me in a way on milk rice. The consistency is the same like by the other two "2in1 Shower & Shampoo" products, really creamy non-translucent, gives a minimum of foam as it's mainly made for small children and toodlers and therefore it is made to be as gentle as possible to a young child's skin as well as it is mentioned on the label, that it doesn't burn in your eyes, which I've not tried out yet, adults usually take care not to splash water into your gentle eye area.
Well by the Weleda Kids "2in1 Shower & Shampoo - Juicy Orange"* I was actually expecting a rich scent after sunny grown oranges after trying my fav' Weleda Kids "2in1 Shower & Shampoo - Tangy Lime"* but you know what? Nope, it smells actually more gentle, it's more like a creamy yoghurt orange popsicle scent, not bad at all! But not the "juicy juicy" orange scent, if you know what I mean?!
All 3 Weleda Kids "2in1 Shower & Shampoo* products have the same shade and creamy gel texture, which is quite similar to some natural liquid body lotions. Big plus, that they all are vegan, without synthetic preservatives, perfumes as well as chemical colorings. In fact, even if they are mainly made for children, they can be used as well by adults, who have sensitive skin, as the scents aren't too sweet and won't remind you on child care products!
The only minus point, which I'm thinking about, is, that they could have actually pick up more creative fictional names for the 2in1 Shower & Shampoo* range instead just name it after the scent itself: sweet vanilla, fruity orange or tangy lime. For the dolphin one, which has the sweet vanilla scent they could have used something like "Sweet Dolphin Dreams", which would be more in context with the illustration itself, but that's just my opinion.
Have you already tried one of these brandnew Weleda Kids "2in1 Shower & Shampoos"* out?!
