as the last days where overwhelming and hot (really sweating!) I used a LOT of sunscreen and different products to avoid any sunburn on my facial skin as well as on my whole body & hands (yep you can burn your hands too!).
Avene has sent me some weeks ago 3 special sunscreen/suncare products* for very sensitive skin types and high protection (SPF/LSF of 50+):
Eau Thermale Avene Very High Protection Mineral Cream*:
The first product by Avene called "Very high protection Mineral Cream" with a SPF/LSF of 50+ for intolerant and very sensitive skin types contains no scent, no chemicals/preservatives and it's good as well for small children.
A longterm and effective sunprotection as well as antioxidants and the Avene Thermal Water makes this mineral sun cream special and very calm to use on your fast irritated or dry or very sensitive skin!
It takes time before you'll blend it well onto your facial skin or body - to avoid beeing too white or pale BUT it's non-greasy and fast absorbing after blend it well in!:)
Using & Price:
Ingredients (50ml Tube) :
Eau Thermale Avene Mineral Suncream* :
This Very high protection thin suncream tube is great for your eye-/cheek-/nose area as it's as well light tinted (don't worry it will match each skin tone!), high waterproof, without any scent and preservatives!
It has a nice applicator, which you can use to apply it directly under your eye area or like me - I'm squeezing always a tiny amount on my finger and than I'm applying it on my eye area or on my nose/cheeks!;)
It blends really fast onto your skin and as it contains pro-tocopherol (the active form of vitamine E - a strong antioxidant) it protects as well your skin cells! For a maximum protection, this sunscreen should be applied before each sunbath and should be repeat after each bath (2mg per cm² skin).
Using & Price:
Face (Eye area, nose, cheeks), Body (sensitive parts like hands, feet etc.)
Ingredients (15ml Tube) :
Eau Thermale Avene Stick Levres/Sun Lip Balm* :
This lip balm with SPF 30 is the perfect lip/nose and sensitive skin areas balm for all sensitive and pale/fairy skin types! It contains SunSitive protection® for safety UVA-/UVB protection as well as the pro-tocopherol and it's absolutely waterproof (I've tested it out in the sea!;)) and it should be as well sweat-proof!
It is a creamy fast absorbing balm, which doesn't leaves a greasy feeling or even a white lip (which some sun balms does!). The well known Avene Thermal Water is as well in this balm and it contains no parabens/preservatives!

My opinion about Avene Mineral Sunscreen for sensitive skin types:
All in All they are great for really sensitive skin types and for someone - who don't like scented or perfumed sunscreens and who would like to try out natural and really soft suncreams!
My fav' is the Avene Tres haute protection creme - Suncream for sensitive areas like eyes, nose, cheeks - as it can be used before you apply your makeup or concealer and gives a smooth finish as well as the needed protection during a long summer day out!;)
The lip balm is really creamy and has made my lips during salty days on the beach in Brighton really soft and calm! I appreciate as well the higher SPF of 30 (50 would be better BUT 30 is a pretty good sunprotection).
The Mineral Suncream for your body/face is as well good, but not my fav' sunscreen - as it takes a pretty long time to blend it well - which isn't due to the high SPF of 50+, because I've other sunscreens with such high SPF, which doesn't take such a long time to blend in BUT the texture and non-greasy feeling is a plush.
I'll definitely recommend you the lip balm as well as the Suncream for sensitive areas as they are small, fit in each handbag and you can use it for more areas on your body - multiple products!;)
They are higher in price BUT totally worth to try out!;)
Did you've tried out any Avene products or sunscreens until yet?! Which is your fav' Avene product?!
